Get Ready to Close
You’re almost done! There are just a few more items that need to be taken care of before you can officially hand off your home to the next owner.
9.1
Moving and Cleaning
Once you’ve moved out (let me know if you need movers!) then it’s time to clean and clear. Your home should be free of all garbage and debris and ready for the new owners.
9.2
Utilities and Insurance
Make sure you have all the utilities transferred out of your name, cancel your homeowners insurance, and make sure your trash and recycling have been scheduled for a final pickup.
